建立社群

　　世界上的每一個人都不是獨立的個體，這代人可以一起行動起來終止貧困、疾病，順應(yīng)全球化的發(fā)展。

　　Purpose doesn't only come from work. The third way we can create a sense of purpose for everyone is by building community. And when our generation says "everyone", we mean everyone in the world.

　　目標(biāo)不僅來自于工作。去創(chuàng)造目標(biāo)感的第三種方式是建立社群， 而當(dāng)我們這一代人說“每個人”的時候，我們指的是世界上的每一個人。

　　Every generation expands the circle of people we consider "one of us". For us, it now encompasses the entire world.

　　每一代人都擴大了我們認同的“自己人”。對我們來說，現(xiàn)在這指的是整個世界。

　　要解決全球性的大問題，沒有任何一個國家可以“單打獨斗”。

　　We get that our greatest opportunities are now global -- we can be the generation that ends poverty, that ends disease. We get that our greatest challenges need global responses too -- no country can fight climate change alone or prevent pandemics. Progress now requires coming together not just as cities or nations, but also as a global community.

　　對我們來說現(xiàn)在最大的機會是全球性的。我們可以成為終結(jié)貧窮和消除疾病的一代人。但同時也意識到我們面臨的巨大挑戰(zhàn)也需要全球性的協(xié)作。沒有一個國家可以單獨應(yīng)對氣候變化或預(yù)防全球性瘟疫。要想取得進步不能靠單個城市或國家，更需要團結(jié)全球。

　　pandemics：流行病

　　目前我們處在一個不穩(wěn)定時期，有人搞孤立主義，反對全球化，所以要建立社群去應(yīng)對。

　　This is the struggle of our time. The forces of freedom, openness and global community against the forces of authoritarianism, isolationism and nationalism. Forces for the flow of knowledge, trade and immigration against those who would slow them down. This is not a battle of nations, it's a battle of ideas.

　　這是我們時代的掙扎。自由、開放和全球社群與權(quán)威主義、孤立主義和民族主義勢力相抗衡；知識流動、貿(mào)易和移民與一切想要放緩步調(diào)的力量相對抗。這不是一場國家之間的斗爭，而是一場思想的斗爭。

　　It's going to happen at the local level, when enough of us feel a sense of purpose and stability in our own lives that we can open up and start caring about everyone. The best way to do that is to start building local communities right now.

　　當(dāng)我們對生命中的目標(biāo)感和穩(wěn)定感有足夠的認知，我們可以開始關(guān)心其他人時，這將從基礎(chǔ)層面開始。最好的辦法是從立刻開始建立當(dāng)?shù)厣缛骸?/p>

　　無論是什么樣的社群，都有意義，因為它給人以歸屬感。
