英國私立學校考察之旅第三站—埃爾斯米爾學院
由英國大使館文化教育處組織為期一周的英國私立學校考察之旅11月30日來到第三站——埃爾斯米爾學院（Ellesmere College）。
埃爾斯米爾學院（Ellesmere College）占地面積50公頃，在校學生600人，有中國學生22人，學生年齡7-18歲。埃爾斯米爾學院（Ellesmere College）的課程有A lvel和IB兩個系，為大家無論繼續(xù)在英國學習還是去其他國家提供多樣選擇的機會。
學校安排校長們分別觀摩了英語文學寫作，經(jīng)濟學，傳媒，生物課程。生物課尤其讓人印象深刻，12年級的孩子們正在解剖羊頭，解剖、刀，錘子各種工具一起上，老師在一旁指導，學生們按照一張切面結(jié)構(gòu)的自己操作，一位觀摩的校長感嘆場面實在震撼。
英文寫作課，老師先讓學生自己學習劇本，選擇自己喜歡的人物進行表演，再請到劇本原作者來為大家解讀，觀摩影視作品，最后自己創(chuàng)作，前后幾個月的一系列連貫學習過程。
